Thank you for sponsoring me!

Pewoudy is from the island of Haiti called La Gonave where his mother makes and sells charcoal for a living. He has four brothers and no sisters. Pewoudy's aunt lives near the HDA and recommended she send him here. He came to our home with no knowledge of sign language but began to pick it up quickly. Pewoudy is eager to do well and earns good marks in class for good behavior. He loves to play with the other children at the home when he is not at school. And has become a leader among the boys here.
